The most important vocation any of us will ever be given is to raise up a child in the knowledge of the Lord.  Speaking on the importance of teaching a child God's Word Moses says in Deuteronomy 6:7, "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."

This is more important than ever today because our children, like us, are engaged in spiritual warfare with the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).  We need them equipped with "the whole armor of God, that [they] may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm."  What a joy it is for any parent to know that their child stands firm!

Our Sunday School program teaches children to use God's Word as well as Luther's Small Catechism.  We work with the children to commit key components of our faith to memory.  To learn more about our memories work program click here.  Our program is structured as follows.
