Jesus comes to us in flesh and blood, as a Man, as God's own son, and as the lowly Servant-King bearing the sins of the world. Though he is forlorn and forsaken, He did not abandon His mission or shirk his obedience to the Father. He followed through and in so doing He won for each of us the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life in His presence.
