Feeding Farmville is excited to begin planning for its 11th year of serving our neighbors in Farmville on Thanksgiving Day. Our mission is simple: helping our neighbors grow closer to God through His unconditional love. Last year, over 400 volunteers and 60 organizations, churches, and businesses came together to prepare and deliver 1,080 meals. It's truly heartwarming to see smiles on people of all ages when someone offers a meal, a friendly smile, an act of kindness, and a warm connection in a world that often feels disconnected. This year, we plan to deliver 1,250 meals to people within 30 miles of Food Lion in Farmville.

As a community-driven project, we need your help. Join us as a volunteer or as a community partner, business, church, or organization, for Feeding Farmville 2026. Here are a few ways you can participate: share our information with employees who may be interested in volunteering, help spread the word by hanging posters at your business and handing out flyers to your clients, pray that God will raise up the volunteers and supplies we need, and make a financial gift through our website.  See attached letter to Community Partners, Poster, and Flyers.

The number of meals is limited, so please call early in order to make sure you get on the list.

Monetary donations may be sent to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1301 Milnwood Rd., Farmville, VA, 23901 with a notation for Feeding Farmville.
